OUR LEADERS

Meet our Pastor
& First Lady

Together for 45 wonderful years, Pastor Sonny and Ann are blessed with two children, Josh and Lacy, and three granddaughters, Stella, Maya, and Livi.

Pastor Sonny, originally from Miami, began his ministerial journey as an evangelist at the age of 17. Meeting Ann four years later only strengthened his ministry. Over the years, he has touched many lives and hearts across the nation. His affiliation with the UPCI dates back to 1988, leading to his ordination in 2001. Besides his pastoral duties, he has recorded six inspiring studio projects, seamlessly combining his love for music with preaching.

Sonny and Ann share a deep passion for marriage enrichment, guiding couples to strengthen their marriages. Standing steadfast beside him, Ann shines in her role as an educator at Lake Rose Christian Academy, fueled by her passion to mold young minds in a Christ-centered environment.

Drawn to Florida's melting pot of cultures, Pastor Sonny was led to Kissimmee by unmistakable signs of God’s calling. With an ever-present zeal, they continue to serve, recognizing the boundless potential of this harvest field.

OUR LEADERS

Under the Leadership of Bishop George Jones

Pastor George Jones has served as Pastor at Orlando Pentecostal Church since 1987. His original plan was to become a lawyer, but after feeling the call to ministry, he changed his path and received a Bachelor of Theology degree from the Apostolic Bible Institute. Pastor Jones and his wife, Kathy, have been married since 1985 and have three children George, Brandon, and Kaitlyn. The current church ministry consists of four separate congregations including Pentecostals of Kissimmee.
OUR HISTORY

40+ Years of Reaching Kissimmeee, Florida

Pentecostals of Kissimmee was established by Rev. John H.J. Brigmond in 1980. After relocating from Orlando to Kissimmee, he constructed a new residence for himself and his wife, Bobbie Jean. It was there, on the adjacent property, that Pentecostals of Kissimmee found its beginnings. In the early 1990s, Rev. Brigmond felt a compelling calling to initiate a fresh Pentecostal ministry in Southern Georgia. As a result, he entrusted the ministry to Bishop George Jones, who has upheld its stewardship ever since. At POK, we express our gratitude for Rev. Brigmond's visionary leadership and unwavering commitment. We consider ourselves fortunate to extend our reach to the vibrant City of Kissimmee.
